PRECISION TRACKING 4 WHEEL STEER CARTS
FOR A FORK-TRUCK FREE ENVIRONMENT
QuadSteer Carts are used in conjunction with a tugging vehicle (tugger). They are primarily used to deliver/pickup commodities along a specific route and can remain attached to tugger with multiple carts in tow. Standard QuadSteer Carts are rated for 2,000 pounds each. In tow, each QuadSteer follows inline and tracks each other within inches around corners.
For a tow package, choose from either a pin & clevis hitch (most common) or pintle ring & coupler. Standard QuadSteer
wheels are twelve inch; cast iron with (red) molded on Polyurethane material and equipped with sealed precision roller bearings. These wheels are best suited for the QuadSteer on all flat and non-porous flooring conditions.
Topper QuadSteers are built very rugged with heavy duty tubular steel framing and sheet metal deck that are finished off with a
baked on powder finish. All other components are zinc plated for longer life. This rugged design is topped off with its unique spindle
steer design, equipped with sealed precision tapered roller bearings. The spindle steer design allows each wheel to turn independently
from the axle allowing minimal pivot at the center of the cart which creates a stable base when cornering. This steering feature is very
similar to that of an automobile; it creates maximum stability with less fatigue on the structure and components. In comparison to an
axle steer cart which pivots directly at the center of the cart with wheels bolted on in a fixed fashion making the cart less stable &
greater fatigue on its structure and components.
Along with Topper’s Ergo-Carts™ the QuadSteer Cart is steadily gaining acceptance in all industries who are gearing
up for a forktruck free environment.
